Preview of the new fonts for The Baltimore Sun

Before the official launch due on the 19th September 2005, I cannot show an extensive preview of the family on typofonderie.com dedicated section. Anyway, the family include the following weights above, from text version to headlines in various widths. The Mencken family is a sort of contemporary Didot who move to something more oldstyle in its text version and kept big xheight on the head version to ensure strong presence in headlines.

On 18th September 2005, I will include in my lecture at ATypI Helsinki 2005, an extensive showing of the project along others recent jobs.
