Real letters on a real wall

Today—a sunny Sunday—was a perfect day to finally doing what I promised to friends 10 months ago. The early design was done in Illustrator-Fontlab based on my own Anisette to which I added more personality to suite better the style of their own wonderful house. I tried to emulate a sort of vernacular french 30-40’s lettering style. My friends seems very happy with it and its the most important.

I added to it a sort of vignette based on one of their roof windows, (œil de bœuf in French).
