Who use Alpha?

Looking at the recent referers on Le Typographe today, I found couple of references from one point zero. Colin O’Brien who live in Belgium and behind this blog, say that he don’t use BBedit but Alpha as text editor for coding? First time I heard about it.

I use myself more and more SubEthaEdit probably not powerful as Alpha but friendly enough as regular compagnon to the standard MacOsX TextEdit (I should registered it soon now that it seems good piece) despite that I never used yet his capacity of multi users via Ichat.

    Actually, I wrote that 4 years ago when I built the site. That was under MacOS 9 and at the time Alpha was indeed the best editor I’d found. But the port to OS X has never been mature enough for real use so I’m now sharing time between BBEdit and skEdit .

    The tag autocompletion in Alpha is still way ahead of the competition but skEdit is getting close.
